President Donald Trump and the opening lady, Melania Trump, have tested positive for the coronavirus. The president revealed the news in the early morning on Friday (October 2) by means of the a Twitter post from his personalized account.


“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19,” he wrote. “We will start our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We'll get through this TOGETHER!”


The news of Trump's positive test result arrived amidst a turbulent election season, immediately following the coronavirus pandemic, the severity of which he downplayed for months, had killed over 207,000 Residents of the
