Get Ready: Your 2018 VMA Nominations Are Here

Last year at the 2017 VMA Pre-Show, Cardi B turned the grounds just outdoors The Forum in Inglewood, California into her playground for three-and-a-half minutes as she expertly ran through "Bodak Yellow." Right now, not even a full year later, she's back — and this time, she's leading the pack.

Cardi racked up 10 nominations for the 2018 VMAs (the most of any artist), including Artist of the Year, Best New Artist, and Best Hip Hop. Beyoncé and Jay-Z The Carters, meanwhile, garnered eight for their surprise release Everything Is Love, including Video of the Year for their Louvre-crashing "APESH**T."

The pair are up against stiff competition in that category, of course, because the other noms include Ariana Grande's "No Tears Left to Cry," Bruno Mars and Cardi B's "Finesse (Remix)," Camila Cabello and Young Thug's "Havana," Childish Gambino's "This Is America," and Drake's "God's Plan." Considering how iconic those last two in particular have become, it's no surprise to learn that both Childish and Drake grabbed seven total nominations — while their pal Bruno amassed six for himself.

The 2018 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from Radio City Music Hall on Monday, August 20 at 9 p.M. ET/PT. The nominations were revealed Monday (July 16) by means of the Instagram's IGTV. Find the whole list below and get voting.
