G-Eazy Reveals He Was Working On New Music With Halsey Days Before They Broke Up

The craziest sort of breakup tends to be the most unexpected. On Tuesday (July 3), Halsey posted the couple was "taking time apart" on her Instagram story. In a recent interview with Billboard conducted days before Halsey reported the couple's split, G-Eazy shared that the two artists were in the studio making music.


"We were just in the studio the other night and we made a couple records," the "Him & I" artist mentioned. "She’s one of the most skilled people in music."


The Bay area rapper continued to divulge how special making records with someone you love can be.


"I told you how much I love networking with yet once you get to collaborate with the person you’re in love with and share this experience of creating a song and performing a song," he mentioned. "And the person you’re sharing it with is that…that’s really dope."


Halsey's statement didn't trim light on the purpose of the sudden split. The singer wished her ex "the best," although was rapidly followed up by a Instagram post featuring a potentially shady Drake lyric. Some are even claiming a recent tweet that says, "pumpkin eater," is a clue to the dissolution of the G-Eazy and Halsey union. It is safe to mention this isn't the end of the conspiracy theories.
