"We did a long fitting, tried on a bunch of outfits, figured out which ones were our preference, got them modified to me to fit me correctly, [and] ate some breakfast," Chamberlain explained. "We did hair and makeup... And then we began shooting and we shot in so several different locations. We shot indoors within the Fred Segal store, we shot some photographs in a parking garage, we shot some pictures standing on a table outdoor with a cute view in the background. There was a lot of different locations."


For Chamberlain, being a Cosmo cover star is a "full circle" moment — especially since she's been reading the magazine for a couple of many years. "I cannot believe it. I cannot fathom it," she mentioned. "... Just because I'd like to, I'm going to thank you guys and Cosmopolitan one more time, so thank you. This is one of the coolest things I've ever done and I'm so grateful for the possibility. I'm going to take a nap right now because I need it."
