Assigning Blame: Was This Week's Catfish Villain Nicole Or Amanda?

Do Catfish have lips? As the show’s most recent episode featured the series’ boldest whistleblower yet.


Nev and Kamie’s latest caper started with an anonymous message from someone who called herself “Baby A,” a shadowy figure who warned that a San Antonio resident named Jesus was being duped. Jesus Christ, 21, had been online dating someone named Nikki, Baby A mentioned, before adding that she personally knew Nikki, who was bad news.


Yet could the duo trust the word of a stranger? To get a higher end sense of the scenario, they traveled to visit Jesus in Texas.


Jesus, a student, mentioned he’d been romantically linked to someone for about per year and explained that he’d obtained a text from the same whistleblower before although that he had never encountered anyone named Nikki. His girlfriend, he mentioned, was named Alexis, and any time the categorize paired Alexis’ pictures against the whistleblower’s images of Nikki, Jesus Christ seemed right — the females were clearly two different people.

Because Nicole was a “narcissist,” according to Amanda, she’d likely welcome the chance to collect and be on camera. Very speedily, that claim proved to be true, and once the order pulled up to the address Nicole had supplied, a woman who bore no resemblance to Nikki or Alexis emerged.


Nicole, who’d been making fake profiles for years, wasted no time slamming Amanda for what she called blatant lies.
